A Tale of Four Agents

So far, I have four agent characters. Two of them are in "semi-retirement" status and are working as crafters in "retirement". Here's a picture of the four of them, and their status. Most of them are wearing something like a Splinter Cell tac suit, which is a pretty classic look for agents, and every agent needs to have, I think, a dark stealth tac suit in their arsenal. Especially the Operatives and Scoundrels, who will be especially stealthy.

J'ohhn - first one played, way back in the early days of Onslaught, I think. He was a sniper (marksmanship) and I had a lot of fun with him. Once I got access to the cool remnant resurrected agent gear, that became his default look, although he's also a character where I trial a lot of other looks sometimes.

Hutran Thanatos was my wave two agent. It was also during the 6.x release, but it's where I went back and played the other advanced class option, and I usually also picked an unusual race, so this was a green Mirialan playing an operative (lethality.) He's also become my biochem crafter. This look is a brand new one, the "Cobra Commander" look, but I'm sure that I'll keep it in his outfit slots for a long time, and I'll probably also replicate it for other characters, because it's really cool.

It took me a few tries to get the right bracers, gloves and belt. Normally I don't worry too much about those, but the ones I was using didn't clip well with the jacket, so I had to keep trying more alternatives until I got what I wanted.

Vash Galaide is the next one, and he was built after 7.x launched. He's a powertech (advanced prototype) and I really need to play him more. He's on Nar Shaddaa and is level 48. I'd like to finish that planet, run a few gratuitous heroics with him, and take him to Tatooine soon. Maybe just keep pushing through and do Alderaan too, skipping the faction story (which I just did recently anyway) because he's not actually that much ahead of the next agent coming up, believe it or not.

He's got another iconic agent look; the Makeb jacket dyed black/black with the remnant resurrected agent headpiece. People came up with that on the internet, and it kind of took the internet by storm a little bit because it was so cool. He has some other outfits, but I kind of run him in this one 90% of the time.

Saxon Hettar is my most recent agent. I actually only started playing him when I resubscribed starting last month, but he's now level 40 and is on Dromund Kaas (although he still has to do most of that planet.) Because he's so ridiculously overleveled, I can skip any faction story that I don't feel like doing, honestly. But I haven't done DK in a while, so I'll probably play everything there. Balmorra I've done a lot recently, with at least two characters, so I may or may not, depending on how I feel. But I don't really want to play too much of him until I get Vash farther ahead. Saxon wasn't supposed to start, but I really wanted to see the "new" Hutta graphics, and before I knew it, I was playing him. He's also not an agent class; he's a gunslinger (dirty fighting).

I have one more agent, and when I get my next cartel coin grant, I'll probably build him, but then not play him, and that will be Jado Vikunn, the "what if Driz'zt Do'Urden from D&D were cast as a space James Bond" character? Unlike my other agents with their "black ops" uniforms, he's going to have a space tuxedo, I think, or the closest I can get to it, and be a more suave, James Bond-like agent. He'll also be a scoundrel (ruffian) and use the SIS Service Pistol, which is the closest pistol in the game (I think) to the Walthers PPK. But he's not built yet. So... yeah.

Here's Saxon, though. Saxon is one of the (relatively few) characters where I made a new outfit for every planet of the main story. For the agents, this means that for Hutta, he's mostly in his Red Blade disguise, but before donning that, and then while on Dromund Kaas, he has his iconic black wetworks suit on, like the other agents. His, of course, has a different look to theirs. They have to all be different... but also kind of the same, if that makes sense.

As a bonus image, here's some of Hutran Thanatos in his actual "working" black ops gear. Another classic look that he wears more often than not.
