SWTOR Journal 2/5/2026

Spent quite a few credits recently, but in reality, it was on really good deals. That's why I keep a few hundred million in savings, so I can use it when these good deals come along. Of course, I need to build it back up and be cheap for now.

First off, I found the entire Fitted Light Anticoncussion MK-B suit for 20M credits. I earlier saw the single character bound version of just the helmet for nearly 200M, so this was a steal. I only was really interested in the helmet, and possibly the jacket, so I put the rest of the pieces back on sale to defray at least some of that cost, but now I have that helmet in a fitted version that I store in my legacy bank and anyone can wear right away at level 1. This is the helmet also unofficially called "the Cobra Commander helmet" which has, sadly, only one downside; it has no neck coverage, so you need to be careful what chest piece you pair it with or you have a curiously exposed neck. Sadly, there's not enough "turtleneck" chest pieces. I think that the Outer Rim Drifter actually works quite well for this, which is another set that I wanted anyway... and I saw that on the GTN for about 80M credits, so I bought it too. I now need to unlock in collections that outfit and one pistol that I bought, and the monthly subscriber grant will leave me just a little short. If I can get to one more 200 cc grant on the seasonal track before it ends (dubious) I can get them both then, otherwise, I'll have to wait until I get March's cc grant to get them both unlocked. Either that or spring for a few extra cartel coins for $5. Waiting is probably better, but y'know. I'm impatient.

I haven't created this yet, because I still haven't got my cc coin drop, so I haven't unlocked the outer rim drifter set that I bought. But here's someone else using the same pieces in the way that I probably would too... That looks like it probably has a secondary black dye module added, but those are easy to get. Black/black is overpriced which is frustrating, because that's everyone's favorite, but for armors that are already either primary or secondary black, it's easy to get an effective black/black from the cartel bazaar.

I'm also thinking of using the Calo Nord coat as a stand-in for a tuxedo, so I can make my "space James Bond" in the future. It's not perfect, because there isn't really a "tuxedo" but it has the same vibe. I have Luukke already wearing, as one outfit, a primary black version of it, and it looks pretty great. Black/black would look even better. Actually, metallic black/matte black would look even better still, and although there isn't such a dye module, if there were a doubled metallic black, that would be the perfect dye module for it. Pair it with the SIS Service Pistol on my upcoming scoundrel agent, and I've got my space James Bond slash Driz'zt ready to go...
