Phovos Maledict has finished the faction story on Hoth, and he's just about done with his class story. He also did most of the exploration missions (all that I could find anyway) but not the Heroics. I also did a bunch of Dynamics with him, because I figured what the heck if I was just running by and came across one that was either nearby or whatever.
I was also doing the seeker stuff up in the corrupted part of the planet, but while looking, I got attacked by two corrupted wampas, and that was really tedious and annoying so I quit. Why are they such big bags of health anyway? They should have died way faster than they did. There's no reason to make them so tedious to fight. I'm level 76, and will probably hit 77 when I finish my class story. With both Vant and Anstal recently, I hit level 80 while doing Hoth, so I'm a little behind that pace, but not enough to worry about. I think today, now that the week has rolled over, I'll do a few Heroics on Korriban and Dromund Kaas with him just to say that I did, I'll go do the Vette sister thing, and whatever other interplanetary interlude (I'm pretty sure I'm at the point where Darth Baras betrays me and tries to have me murdered now) and not worry too much about exploration or faction missions anymore on the last three planets. Like I said yesterday; even if by some weird error I don't hit level 80 when I finish my class story at this point, which I don't think is likely, I'll easily be level 78 or 79 and I can finish up the leveling on Ilum. That'll probably be a moot point, though. I can't believe that even if I'm only doing class stories that I can't do three levels in three planets, plus the interludes, companion conversations, etc.
Although I had a little run where I thought it was interesting to have a separate outfit for every one of the twelve main planets in the game, I now think that a slightly smaller rotation of outfits makes more sense based on what you need. Everyone needs a cold weather outfit. Hoth and Ilum are completely frozen, and Belsavis and Alderaan are at least somewhat cold with plenty of snow and ice around. Everyone needs a toxic outfit. Taris, Quesh and even Hutta; although some characters need to wear something else on Hutta; at least everyone goes back. Everyone needs a casual outfit, maybe most appropriate on Nar Shaddaa. Everyone needs a practical everyday outfit. Everyone needs one that's a little nice looking for occasions where you meet important people, or for Alderaan. And everyone needs another one or two for variety. Phovos has at least three or four that just look like "Sith/Vader armor". I know I get a little irked by the term "space barbie" but I admit that showing off a cool outfit design is fun. I like having a character that looks good. Then again, that's exactly what the concept artists have been doing for Star Wars since 1975-6; trying to make sure that the characters look cool so that the audience is captivated by them.
Anyway, I don't know that Phovos' cold weather outfit is really all that great. But it is different, so that'll have to do. There's only so many cold weather options that you can go with before you start to double up on them, after all.
It also doesn't look very Sithy, I suppose, but Phovos Maledict isn't a very traditional Sith. He's more likely to pick a light side option than a dark side option. Plus, he doesn't always need to look scary, intimidating and armored. Even Sith Lords are still just dudes, at the end of the day, so it's OK for him to occasionally just look like a dude in some normal clothes. I actually really like running around with him in his Disco Sith outfit. And I find I'm using a white lightsaber more often than I expected. At least two, and they're ones I use a lot.
To be fair, this is kind of a "thrown together" look. If I really wanted it to look good, I'd spend a little more time on making sure that I have common colors across pants and torso, and probably have better choices for bracers and gloves. I'm still a little on the fence about the snow goggles too, but I do tend to like them and will probably keep them.
I've also noticed that in play, something weird happens a lot with the cape where it clips through your character's neck and hangs out in the front. It's usually fixable pretty quick by switching outfits and then switching back, but that's weird. It makes me kind of not really like this option for cold weather after all.
