No progress because of seasons

Because it's the last week of Seasons, I want to do all of the seasonal objectives that I can, and at least get one of the two upcoming 200 cartel coin grants. I don't think that I can get to the next one. Ironically, if I'd been focused on this season from the moment that I logged back on, I probably could have maxed it out, or at least come very close to it. But I didn't do anything with it except what was done on accident while playing until just recently. Anyway, most of the objectives this time around are things that I would do anyway, so it should be relatively easy, but it does mean that I needed to change my plan a little bit. Rather than playing anything with Phovos Maledict on Hoth and finishing up that planet, I went with Beorn on Dromund Kaas because there was an activity there that required a couple of hours of play. It worked out because it's actual story progress for him. I got two seasonal objectives complete; one was so stupid that it was going to happen no matter what; kill 100 enemies while you're companion is on Heal spec. Duh; my companions are always on Heal spec except when I specifically change them for a Seasonal objective. Anyway, Beorn leveled up and did several missions on Dromund Kaas. While I'm playing, I'll probably continue to finish up that planet with him, get his ship and then put him on hold when that's finished. That wasn't really my intention, but it makes sense now because he's a good halfway through the planet at least. Plus, he's been fun to play. I don't think I've actually played an alien hunter before; it's interesting to see the offhand comments that NPCs make about that, I suppose. I have another alien hunter in the pipeline, but not for a little while. I also like the sniper spec that I'm using for him, which is virulence in this case. It's similar to my playthrough of Saxon, where I'm using the dirty fighting spec of gunslinger. The two specs are mirror images of each other, and I've not played either before. Both are close to the same level of progress; Saxon is level 40 and Beorn is level 36. Both are on Dromund Kaas, but of course Saxon is playing the agent story, and Beorn is playing the hunter story.

Anyway, other than that, I really want to finish Phovos Maledict soon and get him to "semi-retired" state; finished class story and max level. It's likely to happen before I leave town on Monday for a week-long work trip, where I'll only be able to touch base briefly on Thursday night and Friday morning, if even that.

I also haven't decided yet on deleting Embric Stane and creating a new character in place of him that I'm more in the mood to play, but I'm starting to lean more towards it. We'll see. I can also just be patient and use cartel coins to buy the slots that I need without doing that; it'll take another month of being subscribed, probably.

Anyway, once Phovos is done, I want to play around with Vash a little bit. Here's a few screenshots of him in his Nar Shaddaa "playah" outfit. I like this relatively new "silk shirt" option, and he's carrying the super fancy "high roller" blaster, which is sadly not legacy bound, so it's the only one that I've got is what he can use. I need to go check out where it is, come to think of it. Is it in his cargo hold, or his inventory, or did I lose it and it's only in the outfitter? It kind of sucks that I need to buy it again to use it on another character.

You can see my hunter HK-51 conmpanion. I'm letting Saxon carry around Kaliyo, but Vash has avoided her as much as possible. I really wish that I could just shoot her in the head on Hutta and not bring her along at all, although I realize why they can't offer that, unfortunately, as an option.

I need to get another screenshot of this outfit in better light. Nar Shaddaa is all about nightlife, and it's usually kind of dim and has weird colored neon lights rather than bright daylight, or anything like that. I'll think about the best planet to do that on. Tatooine is always a good choice for bright light, but it's also a rural backwater, where high rollers don't tend to hang out.

Here's an AI rendering of the same character... Although it caused Vash to lose his facial hair, and the droid got a more human-like face.

Here's a couple more, where I asked it to make it brighter daylight so you can see better, and to add the vandyke moustache that Vash has.

Anyway, I also want to take my "just started" characters through their starting planet weekly Heroics again. I used to say that I wanted them to be level 10 before they started, but many of them are over level 20 now; I'll probably just keep doing that every week until I actually start them, and most likely they'll be close to level 30 by the time that they start. That means that when I play them, I've got all kinds of flexibility to ignore stuff that I don't want to repeat.
